Hyperchromic anemia is more… Hyperchromic anemia is usally macrocytic and due to deficiency of vitamine B12 or folic acid. MCV and MCH are elevated. Deficiency of vitamine B12 or folic acid not only inhibits erythropoiesis, but can lead to pancytopenia. Granulocytes may show hypersegmentation. |
