The concentration ratio more… The concentration ratio between the anti-angiogenic factor sFlt-1 and the angiogenic factor PlGF is currently considered the most sensitive indication of an imminent pre-eclampsia. This quotient allows for a prediction up to 5 weeks before the onset of the disease. A sensitivity of 85 % with a specificity of 95 % was described for all forms of pre-eclampsia, whether mild or severe. |
