The half-life is more… The half-life is approximately 50-140 hours (children 40-70 hours). The clinical assessment of the serum concentration is made difficult due to a tolerance development. The upper limit therefore varies from patient to patient. Phenobarbital also influences the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of other drugs. Phenobarbital is a metabolite of Primidon. |
