Interpretation:	As IgG 1 alone accounts more… As IgG 1 alone accounts for a proportion of approx. 65 % of total IgG, a selective deficiency of IgG 2 or IgG 3 is also possible with normal total IgG. A deficiency of IgG 2 may be associated with frequent bacterial infections, a deficiency of igG 3 with viral infections, in particular of the respiratory tract and in the ENT area. The clinical significance of an isolated deficiency of IgG 4 is not documented. close
