Preanalytics/Notes:	Blood sampling in women from 2nd to 8th day of the menstrual cycle reasonable; due to pulsatile hormone release, preparing a pool serum can be appropriate: Pool serum from 3 blood samplings at intervals of 20 min. Patients receiving high doses of biotin (> 5 mg / day) should be sampled at least 8 hours after the last application, as high levels of biotin may interfere with the test system.
