Preanalytics/Notes:	Spot urine. Short-term notification prior to testing is recommended. Visual control during urine voiding recommended to avoid fraud. Do not use containers with stabilizers and do not add any chemicals to the sample. Refrigerate or freeze urine until shipment. In agreement with international standards, a positive screening result will be confirmed by LC-MS/MS. Interpretation:	When abstaining from more… When abstaining from alcohol, ethyl glucuronide is neither detectable in urine nor in serum. EtG can be proven after one-time-only consumption of an amount of alcohol from approx. 10 g on.
