Interpretation:	Urine is a long-term more… Urine is a long-term indicator. An age-dependent increase of cadmium levels has to be considered. For smokers increased cadmium values could be observed. At increased cadmium concentration, repeated testing is recommended. If highly increased cadmium levels were obtained, monitoring of kidney function is recommended. The source of cadmium must be found and eliminated. close
