Intolerance reactions to certain allergens cannot be mapped with the CAP/RAST® method. The test system available for these and some other allergens is the cellular allergy test (FlowCAST) that examines basophiles as primary effector cells of an allergic reaction. Please contact your local representative before sending, due to the critical stability of the specimen and a reliable result!
When requesting a cellular allergy test, please observe the following pre-analytical notes:
In what follows, the allergens for which a cellular allergy test is available are listed according to the groups of substances.
Note: In addition to the cellular allergy testing (FlowCAST®), we also offer the CAP/RAST® method for allergens marked with a *.
